Tomtom Gardens is a mixed-use development in the Tomtom neighborhood of Beyoğlu, created by restoring historic apartment and school buildings. The buildings are arranged around a landscaped shared courtyard and garden, with stores, galleries and restaurants on the ground floor. Restoration began in the first half of the 2010s and moved ahead in phases.

Is Tomtom Gardens new construction or a restoration?

A restoration. Historic apartment and school buildings in Beyoğlu were renewed in keeping with the masonry, woodwork and wrought iron craftsmanship of the period. It is not new construction.

How many buildings and apartments are there?

Tomtom Gardens is a block of historic buildings. The first group, completed in 2018, holds five buildings and about 70 apartments. We confirm the exact building and apartment count for the whole block from the title deed and the management records and send it to you in writing.

What sizes are the apartments?

Layouts run from 1+1 to 4+1 duplexes and top-floor apartments, roughly 50 m² to 231 m². The 1+1 layouts are 50–63 m² and the top-floor apartments 220–231 m². High ceilings, wood-framed windows and generous living rooms are common to these apartments.

Is there a shared garden, and does the location work for families?

The buildings are arranged around a landscaped shared courtyard and garden of about 800 m². Two schools that teach in a foreign language are within walking distance.
